  • Mobile yet?

    Hey Xanga, it's me again.

I take it you didn't get my last message... Why are you wanting to do this to us?  I have an iPhone now and you still are incredibly slow to load up and use on it.  I mean it really isn't worth it.  I went on a vacation in Baltimore, New York, and Washington D.C. and you would never had known it because you are being too stubborn and not going with the times.  I think I have outgrown you Xanga.  It hurts me to say it but unless you can become more mobile friendly I don't see this working out between us.

    Still Yours,
    Frankie

ps.  If anybody out there knows that Xanga is mobile friendly now and could tell me how to do it, that would be fantastic!!

  • poor xanga... *tear*

    Dear Xanga,

What happened to us?  I fondly remember days when I would come home looking forward to seeing you and spending time with you... but those days are far behind us now.  I know that I have made a commitment with you and have spent a lot of money on you too (premeium was not cheap back then on a Sonic carhop salary) which is why I am so determined to keep this relationship active.  I do want to admit and you probably already know that I have been seeing other sites.  It started off with MySpace which I consider just a fling.  The time I spent with MySpace was great until it just got to complicated and I decided to end things with it... but out of that harsh break up came Facebook.  I have been with Facebook now for almost 4 years and it has been a happy mutual relationship.  But just like my relationship with you I have started a fling with Twitter... My heart is torn between the vast options and familarity that Facebook offers and the quick and exciting new world that Twitter offers.  I feel that I have lost touch with you, my very first internet love.  That is why I am here.  No I am not wanting to end this... I just wish that you would become more mobile-ly active.  I can access my beloved Facebook and Twitter from my cell phone, but when I tried to get a hold of you it was incredibly hard and, in my opinion, not worth it.

I love you Xanga and I always will, but please...

    Frankie <3

  • Hello 2009

So this would be my first post for the new year... Now that the "new year" is already a month in.

    Let's see:

    New President, Yay Obama!!

Ricky went missing for almost a week only to come back like nothing was wrong and with news that he is moving to Little Rock.  He was home for about 5 days and now he's gone again.

My Papo moved in with my family.  He had surgery on his knee and that went well, but the drugs he was on made him paranoid and mumbled his speech... He is not the same now.  Not good. -_-"

Michelle is traveling doing inventory for Academy... Good for her!

Lisa is just at school.  I'm on the fence about some of the things I heard that she has been doing to other members of my family for her benefit.

Shayne almost moved to Orlando.  I would go visit him every year then (like I can afford that...)

Kelsey wants me to move out of this dirty dirty house and get a house or duplex with her and another one of our mutual friends... If I can find a job that pays better than Sears does, I'm in!

Chandy called me today!  She is moving to Alaska in August...  wtf??  So now I have to go to El Paso this summer (stress the HAVE TO) before I am, not able to see her again....

Although I wouldn't normally mention him, Kevin broke a glass top steel coffee table in our living room by siting on it.  There is glass everywhere and he doesn't see to care.

My car is still dead.  I need to get the money to get it fixed at a mechanic and naturally I don't have that.

Good news from that is that I am walking almost everywhere (weather permitting).  Losing weight too! ^_^

I'm still writing haikus...  They make me feel better.

Today is a very special day.  Thanks to Kelsey and the fact that it is INCREDIBLY hard to type in both my blackberry and my ipod, I am offically retiring my famous (or imfamous) signature beneath all of my posts.  It is really about time anyway.

    I will miss you "(b'.')b"

    That is all.

  • Happy Holidays

So since I have been Catholic since I was little and have since then given up being Catholic for Lent, I am kinda confused around this time of year...  I work in retail now and as to not get people mad at me I tell them Happy Holidays... but this brings up my confusion the most.

Now that I am not technically Catholic, and I don't see myself as really anything spiritually, what do I celebrate this time of year?  I mean if I know somebody who celebrates Chanukah I will tell them Happy Chanukah likewise with people who are Christian and celebrate Christmas, a Merry Christmas to them as well (and if I ever find anybody who celebrates Kwanza I will ask them what it is and then tell tell Happy Kwanza).

So I believe I have found an answer to my confusion:  Festivus.  I don't know much about this but what I have heard seems pretty generic and funny all at the same time.  I think I am going to look more into this.
